At any time during a meditation and especially at the beginning when I am just starting to relax and let go, things I need to do pop into mind, often something I’d neglected or forgotten about. Or I get an idea I don’t want to lose. So rather than let the idea or task keep impinging on my mind, I calmly write it down on a notepad I’ve placed next to me. Then I go back to meditating. Works great. Patti on 2019-10-30 at 11:30 Write it down. Get it done. The other night I sat down with a notebook I’d had been using at work where I’d “brain dumped” everything I’d had on the go or needed to get done at the time. I was pleased to see how so much had been done, and that there were several “new” ideas in there that were still relevant that I could carry forward to the coming year. I love notebooks. I literally have STACKS of journals in my home, waiting for all those ideas and creativity to spill onto their pages.
